Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring?

Just yourself and a curious appetite. Every guest leaves with a living starter, a finished loaf, a shaped loaf to bake the next day, a banneton basket, and a scoring tool. Aprons and all baking supplies are provided.

How long is a workshop?

The Rise runs about four hours, giving us time to mix, fold, shape, and bake without rushing. Private Artistry in Crust experiences are tailored to your group. No longer than 4 hours.

Can you accommodate dietary needs?

Sourdough is naturally vegan and made with minimal ingredients — flour, water, and salt. If you have specific allergies or sensitivities, let me know when you book and we will plan accordingly.

How do advanced reservations work?

Workshops are kept small and fill quickly, especially on weekends. Reach out by email to reserve your spot, and I will confirm availability and send next steps. Private group dates can be scheduled around your visit to Carmel or Monterey.
